Organizational and Location Information
The workshop sessions will take place in Building B of the University of Economics in Katowice, located on the Bogucicka Campus (ul. Bogucicka 3).
The Bogucicka Campus is accessible from the city center of Katowice via tram services operated by the Metropolitan Transport Authority (ZTM). Tram lines 7, 14, 15, 20, and 25 stop at the "Zawodzie UE" station. The ZTM timetable is available at: https://rj.metropoliaztm.pl/.
In case of inclement weather, we suggest leaving coats and jackets in the cloakroom located on the ground floor of Building A (next to the main entrance at Bogucicka 3). The passage from Building A to Building B will be clearly marked with conference signage and leads through an enclosed walkway connecting the two buildings on the first floor. Both buildings are equipped with elevators.
The workshop sessions will be held in the main hall and the east wing of the second floor of Building B. The opening and closing sessions will take place in the PawĹowski Auditorium (Room 314B). Parallel sessions will be held in three adjacent rooms: 312B, 314B, and 315B, all accessible directly from the main hall of the second floor, according to the program schedule. Each room is equipped with a computer connected to a projector or multimedia display. Presenters are kindly asked to upload their presentations onto the provided computers before the beginning of their session.
Coffee breaks and lunches will be served in Room 307B, located at the end of the east wing on the second floor of Building B.
The University of Economics in Katowice provides access to the Eduroam wireless network. Attendees who are not registered with Eduroam may connect to a dedicated conference network (SSID: MPAR, password: MPAR2025).
The conference concert will take place in the Patio of the Rectorate Building of the University of Economics in Katowice, located at 1 Maja Street 50. A cloakroom is available in the Rectorate. The Rectorate is located on the Bogucicka Campus, just a short three-minute walk from Building B. The walking route from Building B to the Rectorate is shown below:
The conference gala dinner will be held at Tatiana Restaurant, located in the very center of Katowice (ul. Staromiejska 5). The journey from the Bogucicka Campus to the restaurant should take no more than 20 minutes, including a short tram ride.
